I. Wettschwimmen von Puerto del Rosario nach Caleta de Fuste FMHOY - Fuerteventura Im September fand das I. Wettschwimmen von Puerto del Rosario nach Caleta de Fuste statt. An diesem Schwimmwettkampf nahmen insgesamt 50 Schwimmer teil. Die Schwimmer starteten am Strand Playa de Los Pozos und schwammen von dort zum Strand von Caleta de Fuste. Unter den Teilnehmern war Gran Canaria am stärksten vertreten. Darauf folgten Fuerteventura, Lanzarote, Teneriffa und das Baskenland. An diesem Schwimmwettkampf nahmen 36 Männer und 14 Frauen teil. Außerdem muss erwähnt werden, dass zwei Unter15-Jährige teilnahmen; der eine kam aus Lanzarote und der andere aus Fuerteventura. Diese 13-km-Schwimmstrecke mit Windrichtung Nord-Süd war eine besondere Herausforderung für alle, die gerne im offenen Meer schwimmen. Besonders spannend war, dass sowohl die Verwandten als auch das allgemeine Publikum die Schwimmer von der Küste aus beobachten konnten. Der Wettkampf begann mit einem leichten Küstenwind, und das Meer war wellig. Man sah auch zahlreiche Boote, und eine gelbe Boje, die den Schwimmern als Referenzpunk diente. Das erwartungsvolle Publikum sah, wie die folgenden Sportler als erste das Ziel erreichten: 1. Abián Reino Ascanio, mit einer Zeit von 3:24:23 2. Cristopher Carrascosa Hester, der jüngste der Teilnehmer, (15 Jahre), mit 3:25:25 3. Andrea de Maestri, mit 3:25:48. Von den Frauen erreichte Irene Fleitas Imbernon aus Lanzarote mit einer Zeit von 3:22:1 als erste das Ziel.

En septembre a eu lieu la première Traversée à la nage de Puerto del Rosario à Caleta de Fuste avec un départ de la plage de Los Pozos et une arrivée sur la plage de Caleta de Fuste avec la participation de 50 nageurs. De tous les participants, la plus grande représentation venait de la Grande Canarie, suivie de Fuerteventura, Lanzarote, Tenerife te le Pays Basque. 36 hommes participèrent et 14 femmes, dont deux mineurs de 15 ans, un de Lanzarote et un autre de Fuerteventura. Le défi était de parcourir 13 km avec une trajectoire allant du nord vers le sud qui rendit ce défi très difficile pour les amateurs de natation dans les eaux ouvertes
avec le bénéfice de pouvoir être suivi depuis la côte par les familles et le public en général. L’épreuve commença avec une légère brise, la mer ayant quelques vagues et des vents nord-sud, en observant les nombreux bateaux dont la bouée jaune qui servirait de référence pour le groupe de nageurs. Les premiers nageurs à arriver vers le public en attente furent: 1º Abián Reino Ascanio, avec un temps de 3:24:23 2º Cristopher Carrascosa Hester, le plus jeune de l’épreuve, (15 ans), avec un temps de 3:25:25 3º Andrea de Maestri, avec un temps de 3:25:48 La femme à arriver fut Irene Fleitas Imbernon, de Lanzarote, avec un temps de 3:22:12.
First swimming crossing from Puerto de Rosario to Caleta de Fuste FMHOY - Fuerteventura
The first swimming crossing between Puerto del Rosario and Caleta de Fuste took place in September with a start on the beach of Los Pozos and the arrival on the beach of Caleta de Fuste with the participation of 50 swimmers.
There was a large participation from Gran Canaria, followed by Fuerteventura, Lanzarote, Tenerife and the Basque Country. 36 men took part and 14v women, as well as two 15-year-olds, one from Lanzarote and one from Fuerteventura. The challenge consisted of a 13 kilometres swim with a route going from North to South, which made it quite a challenge for the amateurs of swimming in open waters with the advantage of having their families and the public follow hem from the shore. The challenge started with a slight breeze, the sea showing a few waves and winds that came from North to South, there were quite a few on looking boats and the yellow buoy that would be the swimmers’ reference point. The first swimmers to arrive were the following: 1º Abián Reino Ascanio, with a time of 3:24:23 2º Cristopher Carrascosa Hester, the youngest in this challenge, (15 years old), with a time of 3:25:25 3º Andrea de Maestri, with a time of 3:25:48 The first woman to arrive was Irene Fleitas Imbernon, from Lanzarote, with a time of 3:22:12.
