TEK 10
Your initial enquires and quote requests will be handled promptly by our friendly sales team. You will be supplied with an official quotation and - depending on the project - a CAD drawing produced by our technical team.
It will be determined if a site survey is necessary and the cost would be calculated. One of our experienced surveyors will attend site to inspect, measure and template (if necessary) and any amendments will be applied.
Orders will only be processed once customers have signed off on all details, we cannot confirm delivery dates until this point. Panels are cut, edged, machined - and depending on the item - built and sent through our quality checking system ready for delivery.
Your items will be cleaned, wrapped and loaded onto our one of our vehicles for delivery. If at quote stage an ‘installation’ was organised - your furniture will be collected by one of our installations teams and fitted at the pre-determined site.
Our sales and technical teams will always be on hand to assist with any queries you may have regarding a received order, delivery/installation or damaged item. They can inform you of our product guarantee guidelines, and of course supply new quotes.
Product ranges marked as ‘Multipurpose’ can be applied in multiple environments by amending design and functional elements to suit the intended location.
OfficeLife’s StorageWall system brings new dimensions and innovative solutions to any storage problem. The space saving units can be applied almost anywhere, with a varying range of internal accessories to suit all needs.
This system can be manufactured up to 3.2 metres high and tailored to suit the requirements of any open-plan or private office spaces. Various unit options are available to allow flexibility and efficiency for all personnel.
Our Made to Measure, Made to Fit service can be applied to this system and each unit can be manufactured to any necessary height and width. Extra panels can be used to hide unsightly gaps.

StorageWall makes effective use of vertical space and practically maximises storage opportunities. Internal accessories include; lateral and roll-out filling frames, hanging rails, LED lighting and glass shelves.
StorageWall bays are supplied ‘carcass only’ so internals can be configured to personnel preference.
Our Tek 10 benching system offers an aesthetic design and an effective way to offer multiple people workspaces in one area. Most suited to large open spaces in schools and offices, particularly in workplaces adopting a ‘hot desk’ system.
Our Tek 10 benching system boasts 25mm thick desktops available in two depths and multiple widths supported by a robust metal bench frame, which can be powder coated either silver or white. Both desk types have cable management features, single desktops are supplied with two cable ports and double desktops are supplied with a centre scallop. For aesthetic purposes or for added privacy opt for any of our three available Tek 10 desktop screens

Floor to Ceiling SlatWall is a screening system comprised of a series of wooden angled slats with supports along the top and bottom, it is designed for ceilings up to 2.7 metres high. This system can span up to 2 metres wide.

Extended SlatWall is designed for ceilings taller than 2.7 metres high and spans up to 3.1 metres high. Metal support bars will be used to strengthen and support the system so it can be safely extended. These bars can be powder coated in your desired colour.

Choosing the right furniture is important for a breakout area, ensuring it’s practical as well as comfortable and stylish. It doesn’t need to be extravagant and our optional accessories will support any budget.
This wide range of units allows for any combination necessary to suit your space.
With our Made to Measure, Made to Fit service we can produce all standard units to bespoke specifications, considering existing white goods, integrated white goods or additional accessories. Add an extra touch of luxury and apply LED strip lighting underneath our wall hung cupboards. OfficeLife do not offer the supply or fitting of any utilities (gas, electric & water).
Please note: All units in this range are supplied with inset MFC tops. The worktop material is Trespa, this will always be costed as per your enquiry based on variable factors, i.e. layout.

Maximising office space is important whatever size you are working with; two variations of Perimeter Benching legs are available meaning there will be a perfect solution. This versatile range is suitable for application in offices, schools and universities.
This flexible design offers both panel end and metal wall support leg options in two heights and perimeter desktops in three depths (see our price list) - making it suitable for all configurations.
Internal and external corner pieces take care of tricky room layouts.
Metal wall support legs allow for non-restrictive movement underneath the system.

The issues posed by columns, piping and electrical trunking, can all be solved by applying our Made to Measure, Made to Fit service and cutting around said extrusions. Up-stands are used to seamlessly complete the fitted look.
Our ‘pod style’ Call Centres are an alternative to restrictive straight desking. Both variations are designed to promote interaction and communication between departments or teams of employees and can span from four-man to 12-man configurations. Fabric screens offer privacy and are available in a variety of colours.
Call Centres on this page offer desk mounted screens and CPU holders. Desktops are supported by MFC CPU holders with one drawer and space for standard sized CPU’s. Each top is separated by a fabric desk mounted screen and the back panels are also finished in fabric.
Call Centres on page 35 offer floor standing screens and do NOT have a CPU option. Desks tops are supported and separated by fabric floor standing screens; back panels are also finished in fabric.

Our Cantilever Leg Frame (or C-Frame) system is the perfect minimal desk solution, allowing users non-restrictive movement underneath their desk. With a range of colours to choose from plus a variety of top shapes and sizes, it’s easy to achieve any look you desire.
All C-frames are finished Silver (RAL 9006) and can be powder coated in our optional colours; white, black and dark grey. C-frame desktops are 25mm thick and are supplied with either two or three cable ports depending on the style. Choose our Collaboration table range, a modular table range that is perfect for encouraging informal employee collaboration. Tables are supplied with four solid oak legs and slim connecting rails. This design includes a modesty panel for additional stability. Alternatively, choose our Metal Refectory tables for a minimalistic design, with ‘hoop style’ legs on both the table and seat, this design is more lightweight and easier to move around.

Z lockers are designed so that each compartment can hang a garment as well as store several personal belongings. If space optimisation is crucial for your project, Z lockers are the perfect solution.
Create the ‘fitted look’ and choose from either our Flyover Tops or Slopped Top capping to perfectly finish off your lockers. Depending on the size of your run of lockers, we will use multiple tops where needed.
Both our standard Switch and Z lockers have a ‘sports alternative’ for application in leisure facilities. They are designed with a blank panel at the base of the locker to work in conjunction with our sports bench.

Tray storage is a simple but effective way to implement a filing system, available in either one, two or three trays wide. Please see alternative tray depths and colour options on page 100. Add on base units include a sink cupboard and a teacher’s desk unit – they must be used in conjunction with our add on mid alcove unit – you can also use this unit above any standard base unit to create an alcove.
A standard TeacherWall is comprised of four base units as a minimum, your run can be as many units wide as your space will allow.
The maximum height of a standard TeacherWall is 2.7m. Choosing the height of your base units and if you require top boxes will determine the height of your mid units.
Storage shelving is built in on the two outer sides of the ‘mid’ section and can be covered by three type of doors; standard cupboard doors, dry wipe whiteboard cupboard doors and sliding dry wipe whiteboard doors.
The sliding doors are supplied on a twin track so you can choose between one, two, three & four doors across the run.
The centre of the ‘mid-section’ is the centre display unit that houses any interactive whiteboards/TV’s you require and allows for cabling access.

Safety in school is of utmost importance and products in this range will help encourage tidiness and avoiding potential hazards. OfficeLife Cloakroom furniture is robustly built to withstand the weathering of everyday use by young children.
Cloakroom units combine coat and bag storage in one sturdy module, the width of each unit is determined by the number of storage boxes. Choose between open tops or open fronts, both suitable for storing school bags. Strong plastic ‘Toughooks’ allow for the storage of jumpers and coats, please specify the number of hooks you require at the point of ordering. Available in four heights, choose the option best suited to the age of children in your class. End panels have rounded top corners for safety. Alternatively, our Bag Box storage offers either 12, 16 or 20 open storage compartments for personal belongings, this unit is only available in one height.
Wall mounted Coat Hook panels allow students to hang their coats and jackets keeping floor space tidy. They are available in a whopping 22 sizes, ranging from five to 22 coat hooks. Perfect for younger aged children as they can be installed at any height.
Please note: Safety hooks are straight, clear plastic hooks that do not have any jutting points meaning children will avoid injury when moving around them.
For even larger class sizes or older children look no further than our double row coat hook units, available in four different heights.
If you have a large class size or shared cloakroom spaces these pieces are fully adaptable. Two straight units’ slot into each other (90-degree angle) and the back panel on the return unit (side b) will be increased by 400mm.

The ultimate dual function desk, our Mercury IT desk allows pupils of all ages a precise height adjusted monitor when in use and an uninterrupted desktop when stored away. Place them singularly, side-by-side or in back-to-back configurations depending on the quantity you need.
Mercury IT Desk features a sliding top and a height adjustable monitor. Depending on your chosen configuration, we offer ‘drop in tops’ to seamlessly finish off the design.
Monitors are attached to and raised by a telescopic lift mechanism (24V) that allows 460mm of travel. This system is designed to suit (up to) 24-inch monitors. MFC CPU holders are built to suit customers CPU size. This information will need to be specified with your order.
Desks are supplied with a double hinged cable management tray at the base of the desk to tidy away unsightly cables.

All desktops are supplied with two cable ports and elliptical cable ports can be found in the internal side panels. Both study pods are manufactured with an MFC construction, fabric study pods are then upholstered in a fabric of your choice.
They are finished with ribbed plastic trim on the top and front edges and the sides are connected using ribbed plastic linking strips. We can also offer a ‘two colour’ option in both MFC & fabric to elevate your design.

We can manufacture our Study Pods with any of the following optional accessories; a saw tooth desk option, a fabric pin-board for the back of the unit and both MFC CPU holder and/or cable tray.

Our Residential furniture range is a small but versatile combination of bedroom and study furniture, perfect for maximising small spaces. Each piece has a minimalistic design allowing students to add their own flair with personal belongings. Whether your project is a refurb or new development we can work with any unusual room layouts or special requirements with our Made to Measure, Made to Fit service.
This range offers a functional solution combining comfort and study. We can adapt furniture in this range to suit the parameters of your space if necessary. Complement your project further and choose from our range of MFC options.
Choosing our Wall Mounted residential storage allows for extra storage whilst preserving limited floor space. This entire range is robustly built to withstand constant use by students over a long period of time.
Please note: Wall Mounted Residential units can be applied to both masonry and plasterboard walls using the appropriate fixings for each. If your order is delivery only you will have to source the appropriate fixings.

We have a variety of Lock & Handle options to suit your design, budget and application, and to match your overall aesthetic. Brushed silver bar handles are standard with our Breakout, Food Tech and Laboratory furniture, brushed silver bow handles are standard with all other furniture.
Please note: In any 2-door unit a fixed shelf at lock height and black closure strip must be used for all non-standard lock options.

The Spur shelving range includes MFC shelves, metal wall mounted uprights and metal brackets that fit together using a twin slot system. Metalwork is supplied white as standard but is also available in black and silver. This system can be mounted to both masonry and plasterboard walls.
All OfficeLife StorageWall bays and Storage furniture can accept our handy Internal options including MFC shelves and filing options which offer varied storage solutions. These units are not supplied with any internals, allowing users to configure them to their preference.
Please note: Storage cupboards above 1600H must have a fixed shelf for locking purposes.
Please note: MFC shelves must be 25mm thick and therefore cannot be manufactured in an optional colour, we can however use any special edging colour to suit your desired look.
Our extensive range of Power & Cable management options enable users to enhance OfficeLife desks, tables and other furniture. Single and double monitor arms are fully adjustable in height and offer a strong and sturdy ergonomic alternative to a static monitor.
Metal and MFC cable trays accommodate power access, tidy cables out of sight and make for a safer office, avoiding cables trailing underneath desks.
Metal CPU holders are fully adjustable, save space and can protect your equipment by keeping it off the floor. Our MFC equivalent is made to suit the size of your CPU.
Power modules are high priority in a busy office, available on or in the surface of your furniture and allow for multiple users and connection types.
Please note we do not offer a standard power module we will always source a suitable item based on your requirements.
Manage and protect your cables with our simple and convenient Cable Port options. Round and oval silver cable ports are used as standard where specified, browse through other available colours and sizes to suit your design and preference. Large cable outlets are used to cover electrical sockets and ventilation grills are used when specified by the customer based on application of the furniture.

At OfficeLife we use trusted supplier Gratnells, for the supply of plastic Storage Trays in the following sizes; shallow, deep, extra deep and jumbo.
All trays are available in a variety of bright colours with a cut out pull handle, they are made from tough materials that are highly durable and suited to everyday educational use.

Our standard finishes include 13 of our most popular plain and woodgrain colours, handpicked to help you create the perfect colour story and available in both 18 and 25mm thicknesses. Our optional finishes include more vibrant options as well as some premium woodgrain options.
Compact laminate or Trespa is a specialised material designed for surfaces that suffer heavy use or frequent cleaning.
The moisture resistant surface is most suitable for worktops in education or laboratory settings.
All finishes are available in 16mm thicknesses and two sheet sizes. Any other requirements can be discussed with our Sales team at the point of quoting.
Please note these ‘optional’ colours are only available in 18mm and will not suit products that require 25mm, however a solution can be discussed with our Sales team at the point of quoting.

All orders are accepted subject to the following Terms and Conditions and supersede any Terms and Conditions proposed by the Customer and may not be varied except with the written consent of a Director of the Company. “The Company” means ‘OfficeLife Solutions Limited’ or “OfficeLife Solutions”. “The Customer” means any person, firm or company trading with the Company. Our marketing policy is one of continuous product development. We therefore reserve the right to alter specifications and designs without notice. All orders are accepted subject to these Terms and Conditions of Sale unless otherwise specified and agreed in writing by the Company.
Prices payable for the goods will be those quoted at date of written quotation and/or relevant order. We reserve the right to vary such prices according to increases in costs of material, labour, transport, VAT or other factors which occur between order acceptance and delivery of the order or that part of the order being undelivered at the time of price variation. All prices are exclusive of VAT that will be invoiced at the appropriate rate applicable on the day of despatch.
Where OfficeLife Solutions undertakes to carry-out a site survey it is the Customer’s responsibility to ensure the site is ready by the agreed date of the survey. A survey fee may be charged by the Company. Also if the surveyor attends site and cannot carry out the survey, OfficeLife Solutions will levy a charge subject to location for returning to the site to fulfil the site survey. It is the Customer’s responsibility to meet our surveyor on site to ensure the correct area is measured. OfficeLife Solutions will take no responsibility for an incorrect site survey due to Customer not being present on site.
30 Days from month-end. In the event of late payment, the Company reserves the right to charge interest on overdue accounts at 4% above clearing bank base rate. Unpaid accounts will be placed on ‘Notice of Stop’ on the 7th of the month. No further goods will then be delivered until ‘cleared’ funds have been lodged into the Company’s bank account. Should we need to issue the Customer with 7 day letters, the credit facility may be affected for future trading with OfficeLife Solutions
The title and property in goods does not pass to the Customer until the Company receives full payment in respect thereof. If notwithstanding that the ownership of the goods has not passed to the Customer, the Customer shall sell the goods in such manner as to pass to a third party a valid title in the goods, the Customer shall hold the proceeds of such sale on trust for the Company. If payment for goods is overdue in whole or in part or there is any act of proceeding in which the Customer’s solvency is involved, the Company shall have the right to enter upon the Customer’s premises and remove the goods therefrom and for this purpose the Customer shall keep the goods separate and identifiable until full payment is made thereof.
RISK
Risk of loss or damage to the goods shall pass to the Customer at the time of delivery to the Customer. Where goods are lost, damaged or destroyed after delivery and ownership has yet to pass, the Customer will indemnify the Company against any loss incurred by it provided such loss, damage or destruction does not result from the negligence of the Company.
The Company undertakes that if within three years of delivery, the goods (including moving parts) are found upon inspection by or on behalf of the Company to have proved defective in workmanship or materials under normal use and service, it will (at its option) either repair or replace the defective goods or part thereof provided that in any case the original goods have been accepted and paid for in accordance with our trading terms and provided also that the goods have been properly maintained and have not been subject to any misuse, unauthorised repair, replacement, modification or alteration. In the case of goods not manufactured by the Company, the Company will pass on to the Customer, to the extent that it is able, any benefits obtainable under any warranty given by the Company’s supplier provided that the goods have been paid for and accepted. In order to exercise its rights, the Customer shall inform the Company within 2 days of the date when such defect appeared or ought reasonably to have been discoverable and in any event within the relevant warranty period as specified above and shall at the Company’s written request return the defective goods, carriage paid, to the Company’s premises. Nothing herein shall impose any liability upon the Company in respect of any defect in the goods due to defects in any material supplied by the Customer which is incorporated in the goods or otherwise arising out of the acts, omissions, negligence or default of the Customer to comply with any recommendations of the Company as to storage, use, maintenance and handling of the goods.
The Company will take all the necessary steps to ensure that estimated delivery dates are adhered to but shall incur no liability whatsoever for any delays to these dates due to breakdown, illness, accident, lockout, shortage of materials or other causes beyond its reasonable control. All deliveries are effected to tailboard of vehicle only. Assistance may be required to offload large products and Customer is to notify the Company of any parking or access restrictions. Any other delivery requirements should be agreed and printed on the paperwork.
In the case of approved Customers’ requesting a delivery made to their end-user, deliveries would be effected to the tailboard of vehicle. The enduser must provide assistance in unloading. Where this results in bodily injury or damage that is not attributable to the negligence of the Company or its employee(s), the Customer will indemnify the Company against any claims, proceedings, demands and costs that arise.
The Company reserves the right to charge for direct deliveries. These will be confirmed by the Company at the time of ordering. Additional charges will apply for downtime when drivers are kept waiting at site at the hourly rate of £75+VAT. On such occasions the Company reserves the right to vacate the Customer’s site/premises if our delivery schedules are going to be affected and a re-delivery charge will apply. Charges will also apply if adequate parking is not provided for the delivery to be effected. Parking fines will be recharged to the Customer at cost where parking is not provided to Office Life Solutions. A flat rate charge of £50+VAT will be made for deliveries within any congestion charging zones within the UK.
CANCELLATIONS
The cancellation of orders for non-standard products cannot be accepted and we reserve the right to recover fully the cost of any materials obtained or manufactured specifically for the order. On standard products cancellation can only be accepted if received in writing and within 24 hours of ordering. Provided always that the Company is not committed to its Suppliers where goods have been ordered to meet shorter lead times to fulfil the Customer’s orders.
Goods that are refused which will require re-delivery will incur additional delivery charges. Brackets that are ordered incorrectly may incur a 35% re-stocking charge.
DIMENSIONS
All measurements quoted in our literature are nominal and terms used are those accepted by the Trade.
INSTALLATION
Where OfficeLife Solutions undertakes an installation, it is the responsibility of the Customer to make sure that the installation site has the following: Adequate parking, 240 volt power, Lighting, Toilets. That their customer (end-user) is aware an installation is to take place at the arranged time. To ensure that the site is ready for the installation to take place i.e.:
1.Areas are cleared to enable screens or furniture to be erected/fitted.
2.Desks are cleared of computers and cables if desk mounted screens are to be fitted.
3.All staff on site are aware that the installation is to take place and there will be noise.
4.When fitted storage is installed i.e. Teacher Wall or Storage Wall, it is the Customer’s responsibility to ensure that no end-user employees are located within a 5 metre radius of the working area to comply with installation risk assessments. To warn their customer that they may need to stay late to enable the installation to be completed. To ensure all agreed points following the site survey have been addressed. It is the Customer’s responsibility to sign off an installation. If this is not done Office Life Solutions cannot be held responsible for any issues concerning placement of products.
Will charge a minimum of £50+VAT per hour per fitter for any down time due to any of the above not being carried out. Reserves the right to charge a higher installation cost due to any of the above not being carried out. The Customer will be charged the whole installation cost if the installation is postponed due to no adequate parking for the installation vehicle. The Company cannot guarantee an arrival time for the fitters due to traffic conditions. The Company cannot accept any costs or liability for any problems on site. The Company cannot accept any installation quality issues if the installation satisfaction note is not signed by an authorised representative of the customer.
Upon receipt of your order OfficeLife Solutions will send you an order acknowledgement via fax/e-mail. You must check the order acknowledgement to make sure it corresponds with your order and report any discrepancies to OfficeLife Solutions immediately otherwise OfficeLife Solutions cannot accept any responsibility for misinterpretation of your order. The Company can only accept written orders for products. The Company will only take written instructions for amendments to Customer’s orders. All delivery and installation information will only be accepted in writing. The Company will not proceed with production or delivery until it has received written confirmation from the Customer. All orders in excess of £8,000 exclusive of VAT will attract the following terms of one third deposit with order, third payment on delivery, third payment 30 days from month end. Production time starts once the Company has received all the necessary information. Production cannot proceed until ‘cleared’ funds have been received or if Customer’s account has been issued with a ‘Notice of Stop’.
The Company will not accept any claim for damage to the product after the delivery note has been signed unless it is a manufacturing fault. The Company will not accept any claim for damage to the product after it has been transhipped on another vehicle. The Company will not accept “not checked” on a delivery note. It is the Customer’s responsibility to check that the product is in good condition before signing the delivery note.
OfficeLife Solutions may deliver by instalments in such quantities as it may reasonably decide; such instalments shall be separate obligations and no breach in respect of one or more of them shall entitle the Customer to cancel any subsequent instalments or repudiate this contract as a whole.
