Capabilities & Infrastructure

FG Library & Learning operates six advanced production and distribution sites in Northampton, Haverhill, Wakefield, Rotherham, Royston, and Kimbolton, ensuring high-quality, precisely crafted library furniture. Quality and service remain at the heart of everything we do. Our ISO 9001/ISO 45001 accreditations, many satisfied customers and volume of repeat business is a testament to this.

Our in-house team controls every stage of production, meeting ISO 9001 standards for impeccable craftsmanship at our BREAM accredited head office. We are able to work on projects of varying size and complex, manufacturing both standard and bespoke, made-to-measure product.

Project Management

Our experienced team manages every aspect of library fit outs, from partitions and decoration to ceilings and flooring, ensuring seamless project execution. History shows that our clients benefit from additional support when it comes to coordinating the often-complex elements of fitting out a new library or learning space. Our site teams are specialists in liaising with any third parties you may be working with. This ensures that your project runs smoothly and is completed on time, and on budget.

Utilising UK manufacturing and locally sourced materials where possible, enables us to remain at the forefront of the design and delivery efficiencies.

Deliveries may be routed to our warehousing facilities and collated or delivered direct to site. This provides greater flexibility over scheduling, reduces CO2 emissions through reduced ‘product miles’ and provides the optimum scenario for meeting client expectations. Our ISO accreditations and methodology ensure that deliveries are completed and undamaged on dispatch.

In Haverhill, UK our dedicated site orchestrates the design and manufacturing of a broad range of acoustic solutions, from pods and booths to screens and panelling.

In the US, FG Library US is a leading library furniture designer, manufacturer and supplier with facilities in Holland, Michigan. We have been supplying furniture for both public and school library spaces for over 20 years, establishing in the UK and bringing the products to the US market.
