Make a mess at RMSC during MESS-tival, a celebration of all things ooey, gooey and yucky, March 30-April 7. by Sue Cannon •It’s time to B.Y.O.T. (Bring Your Own Train) to the New York Museum of Transportation for a special event held on Sundays through April. Kids and adults are invited to bring their HO-gauge trains and operate them on the museum’s huge layout, located at 6393 East River Road in Rush NY. They can also solve brain-teasers, make paper puzzles, and check out 3-D, glowin-the-dark or teeny tiny puzzles so small you need tweezers to place the pieces. MOSES MAN: A musical journey of a Holocaust survivor, deals with the indomitable spirit of survival in Kalman and Lily Haber on their perilous flight from Nazi-invaded Austria. They travel with their family to Cyprus, Palestine, Africa and finally America. The FREETIME Magazine Baseball Buddies will honor local youth baseball teams at all 72 Rochester Red Wings home games during the 2013 season. Members of each selected team will be introduced along with their coaches. The youngsters will be invited to stand on the field next to the Red Wings for the playing of the National Anthem.

All the individuals of the selected team will receive a Baseball Cap compliments of FREETIME Magazine and the Red Wings. Ten tickets will be provided for the team. Additional tickets may be purchased at a group discount. Teams may also register by signing up at all Red Wings home games during the 2013 season. Teams will be contacted by a Red Wings representative to schedule their special night.
