ZERMATT & THE SWATCH SKIERS CUP For the second time, Zermatt welcomes the Swatch Skiers Cup, one of the best showdowns in the world of competitive skiing. This unique ski event brings together 16 of the world‘s best freestylers and freeriders in a multi-discipline, team format competition. Two disciplines ultimately will decide the winning team. During Big Mountain day the competitors face off in a freeride-style event on the limitless off-piste terrain available around the Zermatt ski center. The next event, Backcountry Slopestyle, happens in the air in the shadow of the famous Matterhorn, with the riders soaring, flipping and spinning off the perfectly-shaped jumps that make up the course. Only one proud team will raise the Swatch Skiers Cup trophy!
