Seoul Metts’ Speech

My name is Seoul Metts and while this is my first year at freedom, I can confidently say I’m an excellent choice to be Key Clubs Vice President.

I’m incredibly dedicated to my commitments and possess an effective skill set and strong work ethic including public speaking, open communication and networking along with a level of passion into all teams I’m a part of. Within school, l’ve taken leadership opportunities such as Club Re-freshh secretary and will be next year’s president, developed great friendships with future cabinet members and in previous school years, worked closely with the BSU cabinet. Outside of school, I’ve interned for a nonprofit organization specializing in outreach where my task consisted of communicating with my team on activism research, writing and problem solving. Regardless, I will continue to support Key Club and contribute to future events and would appreciate it if you voted for me!

Ava Staffords Speech

I should be given the opportunity to be Key Club Vice President due to my club connections, experience, and ability to speak publicly. I am currently in and plan to continue to be a member in TUPE, Book Club, CSF, Math Club, and of course Key Club! I have established well connections with cabinets and advisors for all of the clubs above. I hold not only experience in club settings but also through extracurriculars. I am the CEO of S.N.W a non-profit working to fund Native American Tribes to establish clean water systems. Through this, I’ve gained experience in responsibility, deadlines, money management, and documentations! From my work in and outside the freedom environment I’ve accumulated over 100 hours of community service ranging from youth outreach to food handling! I truly hope to be given this opportunity, I know I’ll be able to step up and bring the energy for all club events. Thank you so much!

After much careful consideration of both candidates’ outstanding qualifications, the current and future cabinet members unanimously agreed that both Seoul Metts and Ava Stafford would be given the role of co-vice presidents. Due to addition, Cadence West, and Koey Tan will work together to become co-presidents for the 2024-2025 term. We look forward to seeing how incredibly well our future presidents cabinet members help in our community alongside Key Club members.

At the last food fair of the semester, on May 28th during the unity lunch, our key cabinet in training sold Thai and Taro boba tea from TeaZenTea. It was senior skip day, so a large portion of the school was not there, and yet we managed to still sell the majority

Helping to set up and run food fair was an exciting and memorable experience where we were able to begin to develop easy communication between us.. Cracking jokes and helping each other whenever it was needed Although it was stressful for our first time running food fair, cabinet members in training had a good time while earning club funds.
