On April 9th, 2024, from 4 to 6PM, our school's main quad hosted Spring Fest, where local elementary kids came to play games created by different clubs. Key Club had a table set up by the C building and set up their decorations and activity. At first, we didn't know each other well, but this occasion created an instant connection and friendship among both our new and old cabinet members, as well as Key Club's existing members.
Our game was Velcro Throw, with children attempting to land their throws on the target to score candy rewards. We were delighted to see Mr. Apel and Ms. Angelos's children, as well as students who brought their own siblings to join in the festivities. Overall, it was a heartwarming day filled with laughter, bonding, and the shared joy of community.

Key Club gathered after school for the calendar meeting, an important event where the new club cabinets come together to plan their fundraising events. The new cabinet of Key Club carefully selected the dates for their upcoming events, settling on September 27th, December 9th, February 3rd, and April 9th. These dates would mark their restaurant fundraisers and general fundraising activities for the next school year. As the meeting progressed, they discussed strategies, and set goals to ensure the success of each event.
By 5:00 pm, the calendar meeting was done. The new cabinet already set a plan to go hang out after the calendar meeting was over. We went to TeaZenTea to get boba and got food at Ramen 101. This was an unforgettable experience since it freed our minds from the weight of planning. They relaxed and enjoyed each other's company, sharing laughs and stories. This marked the beginning of a journey filled with collaboration, friendship, and shared accomplishments as they worked together to serve their community through Key Club.
