Six months later, before Tina’s final surgery, a routine PET scan again showed that James had small tumors in several areas of his body. Presently, James is unable to work. Thankfully, Tina is finished with all of her surgery and is an official CANCER SURVIVOR!

Freeborn County is accepting applications for a 40 hour a week Seasonal Highway Maintenance Worker in the Highway Department. The position is responsible for mowing and trimming county and county highway facilities including roadways. Assist in the installation, maintenance and inventory of traffic signs, tally and track material placement and load counts, patch bituminous or concrete surfaced roadways, litter and refuse pick up and removal and miscellaneous tasks related to the maintenance of county highways. Ability to operate many types of equipment (motorized hand tools, mowers, utility vehicles, etc.) and other duties as needed. Applicant must have a valid Minnesota Driver’s license, must be 18 years of age, must have good communication skills, and able to lift 70 lbs occasionally.

As I sit here trying to write this Thank You, I keep coming back to the same problem. How do I write a thank you when “thank you” just doesn’t seem to be enough? As I sit here trying to write this Thank You, I keep coming back to the same problem. How do I write a thank you when “thank you” just doesn’t seem to be enough? Maybe totally, incredibly awesome says it better. The amount of concern and support expressed and shown to our family during this time has been overwhelming yet amazing. Which leads us to believe that we are surrounded by a wonderful, caring community of friends and family, and that there will be better days ahead. Assist in the installation, maintenance and inventory of traffic signs, tally and track material placement and load counts, patch bituminous or concrete surfaced roadways, litter and refuse pick up and removal and miscellaneous tasks related to the maintenance of county highways. Ability to operate many types of equipment (motorized hand tools, mowers, utility vehicles, etc.) and other duties as needed. Applicant must have a valid Minnesota Driver’s license, must be 18 years of age, must have good communication skills, and able to lift 70 lbs occasionally.

Six months later, before Tina’s final surgery, a routine PET scan again showed that James had small tumors in several areas of his body. Presently, James is unable to work. Thankfully, Tina is finished with all of her surgery and is an official CANCER SURVIVOR!
