The Winston County Self Help Cooperative (WCSHC) conveys words of thanks to Antoine Helm Farm for hosting an educational and informative “Cattle Field Day” on yesterday, April 27, 2021. Mr. Helm allowed individuals, from across the state of Mississippi, an opportunity to learn and view conservation practices implemented through Natural R esources Conser vation S er vice’s, Environmental Quality Incentive Program (EQIP). This opened window of opportunity, on yesterday, helped propel others to continue their quest of farm ownership. Additionally, words of appreciation are extended to James Corley FSA, Holmes Co, CED, Fernando Vasquez, Holmes Co, NRCS, DC and Mac Ables, Registered Forester, for their excellent presentations. Also, WCSHC appreciate participants, for adhering to COVID
policies, in helping us to conduct a safe field day event. We will see you on the road at G & G Farms, this Thursday, April 29th, 5pm. G & G Farms are located at 691 County Rd 279, McCarley, MS 38943.
