Elmo086 Games Overview Review of Destiny It was back in 2010 that Bungie games developers released their franchise block busting game that was and is Halo:Reach. And it's obvious they was working very hard when they released the awesome project that is was and is Destiny. And Bungie made the right decision when they teamed up with Activision seeing as they already have many top game franchises in their history. And as you can imagine, that will mean there's going to be another Decade of Destiny gaming going on, at least for now. And from an avid game player, it can be said with some confidence that although it works, it could still do with some polishing! Destiny can be a little confusing to understand from the get go. At first impressions it looks like an open world shared shooting game. But actually, Destiny is a mix of both shooting game and MMO as well. Some games it can be compared to include WOW, Halo, Diablo and COD. Although Borderlands is probably the most closest to it. Sometimes you'll be shooting, other times you'll be looting! On the first time you start up Destiny, you'll be looking at a slightly confusing scene that takes place on Mars. Once the video has finished you'll then be able to choose and create your own character. But customization isn't the most in-depth customization and a little bewildering. Destiny doesn't have a lot of depth to it on this front unlike some other RPG's do. And you'll notice how un-unique you really are once you take your helmet off in the The Tower location. There's a bit more room to wiggle though when it comes to the classes your character has. You will actually have 3 different classes to choose from which are either the Swift Hunter, the Explosive Warlock or the Titan which is basically a tank on legs. There are 2 different levelling up trees and even when you get to the maximum level of 20 you'll still find you have more unlocking to do in the options tree. Although that said, there isn't any class trees that you really must have and as of right now it's more about choice and preference of the player. A lot of people even say the classes are very much the same all round in that they all have powerful glass cannons each to their own way. That isn't a bad thing though when you're not forced into choosing either one of them and a mix of MMO and Tanks and Healers too. Each character does a good deal of damage and each have their own unique explosions also. But when you're not flexing your characters abilities to the max, you'll mainly be shooting your gun at enemies. And a lot of shooting you'll be doing too. Whether it's taking out the NRA or just shooting at anything that moves. But despite this, Destiny is a great RPG even if shoot em up fans are a bit annoyed when their head shots don't quickly kill the enemy. But that's what makes Destiny a lot of fun to play in its own right. Bringing down the boss at the end of a strike is a feel-good feeling that will be awarded only to those that do. So if you've ever enjoyed playing Halo then you're going to feel right at home in Destiny. Sure, some enemies can take a long time to kill, but you're guaranteed a good time fight in taking them down! Though for as much fun as the game can be, it can also get quite repetitive too when you're going
