CITY AMENITIES

In the heart of downtown just across the street from Commerce Park is a street-corner plaza known as Rotary Park. Brick pavers surround a fountain, which can be enjoyed from several swinging benches. Take a break here from walking around downtown and cool off in the shade as that fountain mist lowers the temperatures on even the hottest days.

Our Splash pad is fantastic because kids of any age can enjoy the water without fear of swimming, and all you need is a bathing suit and towel. Created as a project of Leadership Golden Strip in conjunction with the City of Fountain Inn the Splash Pad is a great place to relax, cool off and spend time with friends! With ice cream right across the street at The Chill Factory, this may be your new favorite daytime hangout!

SWAMP RABBIT TRAIL EV CHARGERS

The City of Fountain Inn is always looking to have the most innovative and high-tech amenities for our residents. Our electric care chargers are one example of how we are planning for the future. Located in the public parking lot on Depot Street Downtown, these chargers are just steps away from the best places to eat, sip, and play.

The Southernmost part of the GHS Swamp Rabbit Trail starts in Fountain Inn! Fountain Inn has almost 5 miles of paved walking trails that are currently the projected ending point for the trail. It will eventually work its way from Greenville through the Golden Strip and into Laurens County. There are four main entrances/sections of the trail in Fountain Inn. The Fountain Inn Activities Center and Fountain Inn Elementary share safe routes to the school section that connects the Activities Center with the back of the school and Fairview Street Park. Woodside Park has another section of walking trails located in the back of the park near the picnic shelter. A great place to access the new section of the trail is at Mt. Zion Baptist Church off HWY 418. This section has excellent parking, a shaded loop with a picnic shelter, and over a mile of a paved trail that follows a pond and creek. You can also access the trail from Hellams Street behind the new Greenville County School District Property. There is a parking lot located at this trailhead. This will be the future connection to connect Fountain Inn to Simpsonville.
