Evgeny Chubarov 1934 – 2012 Painter, sculptor, graphic artist 1954 ed vocational school in Zlatoust, trained as a chaser 1959 moved to Zagorsk, where he met sculptor D.F. Tsaplin. 1975 joined the Soviet Artists’ Union. 2007 his Unnamed picture (1992) went for $562 000 at the Sotheby’s Russian art auction, a record price for a living artist from Russia.
