Principal's Message

Year 6 Graduating Students,

Congratulations on your achievements and successes throughout your time at primary school.

I am sure you would acknowledge that it has been a roller coaster ride of challenges, successes, excitement, concerns, laugher, tears and relationships.

However, the consistent theme throughout this roller coaster ride has been the opportunity to learn and develop. Every moment has been a learning experience that has allowed you to become more diverse in your knowledge, skills and understanding.

Thank you for contributing to the culture of Hocking Primary School by bringing your unique personality and skills to our school. Our students are at the heart of everything we do and one of our priorities is to ensure you are prepared to leave us and transition to your next level of education.

I encourage you to embrace this journey into high school, discover new friendships, be open to diversity, view difficulties as new learning experiences, celebrate and be grateful for the positive things in your life, read books, take a break from screens, call someone instead of texting, let your family know they are appreciated and be kind.

I wish you all the best, look after each other and stay connected.

Take care and kind regards.

Mr Mike Wills Principal
