Researcher’s notebook
6th year of Primary Education

Using all that we have learnt during these courses, why don’t we make a poster where we can display our knowledge and show it to the rest of our schoolmates? To carry out this activity, you must get yourselves into groups following the teacher’s instructions.
Activate what you know. With the video, you have learnt a lot about the sun, skin and sun protection.
Do you remember these concepts?
Photosynthesis
Atmosphere
Ultraviolet rays
Epidermis
Melanin
Sunburn
Solar radiation
Sunscreen
Phototype
If you don’t remember a concept, look up its definition: it will help you a lot when it comes to making the poster.
2 Making the poster.
1 Brainstorming
In this box, write down all the concepts that you have learnt about and that you think should appear in the poster.
Structure your ideas and write down the contents you want to display on the poster.
Write short and simple sentences with clear messages that are easy to understand. To make the poster striking, use messages that have a lot of impact.
Use short, catchy phrases. You can even make them rhyme so they are easily remembered.
2 Making the poster.
Based on the contents you have chosen for the poster, think of a title that is powerful, easy to understand and that perfectly summarises what you want to explain.
Finally, design the poster: you can use as many materials as the teacher tells you. Make a beautiful poster, structure the contents so that it is easy to understand and conveys everything you want to explain.
