Keeping you safe in your home
We are committed to providing you with a safe, well maintained home.
We carry out important work on your home every year to make sure it’s fit for the future. We’ve developed a ‘Keeping you safe’ area on our website to share with you how we protect you and your home. This includes:
• water safety
• asbestos
• fire safety • gas safety
• electrical safety
• lifts
In this new website area, there is information about what we’re doing to keep you and your home safe as a landlord, and we will also share important tips on how you can stay safe at home.

A tenant’s viewpoint
Our Together with Tenants Charter has now officially launched
The charter is a series of commitments that have been developed by listening and working together with you, and other tenants, to make a difference and create services that are personcentred, inclusive, and work.
We know that we don’t always get it right, but what we do know is that we want to improve and provide you with the best possible services. Tenant Helen Wild, 60, has been involved with the Together with Tenants Charter from the start and shares her perspective on its impact.
Our new approach to Scrutiny
Tenant scrutiny means you will be able to review what we do and why we do it, influencing what happens to your home and community, and putting you at the heart of our decision making.
You can decide what needs to change, investigate tenant experiences and work alongside us to make things happen. You can be the voice of your community and positively impact the services we deliver, making a difference to the lives of many. You will have the opportunity to make a real impact.
You can get involved from as little as 10 minutes to, two days per month, whatever suits you. Be the voice of your community, make things happen and RAISE IT. Have a say in shaping our delivery of services, together we can make a difference.
Helen said:
The Together with Tenants Charter will be a golden thread running through the whole organisation’s work. It will connect all the tenant groups and will help hold ForHousing accountable – the Charter will help make sure what our landlord says they’ll do gets done.
YOURAREA
“It gives us all the chance to work together, so we can be proud of where we live and improve our community for the next generation to enjoy.
