QUINN ARTHUR

From a young age, art and the creative process have always been center stage in my life: The earliest forms of inspiration came from movies, t.v., comics and video games; characters and creatures that inspired me to create my own, continuously challenging me to search for new inspirations and aesthetics to study and incorporate into my designs. For a time I was unsure of where I wanted to go with my illustration skills, but I simply could not keep myself from putting pencil to paper. It wasn't until my last years of secondary school when I started a comic: . While the idea itself was intended as nothing but initially fun (being a grim-dark spin on the world of ), it slowly revealed itself to be the challenge I was craving; after sinking my teeth in, became a five-year long skill development project (Narrative, dialogue, plot, character design, architecture, anatomy, etc.). Before long, I began writing , and within the foreseeable future the original story will be in full production.

I was exposed to metal work and smithing at the age of eight, after watching a scene in a film in which they were forging traditional Japanese blades. Since then I have pursued the development of craftsmanship and metalworking techniques; applying my understanding of line and illustration into the physical realm. As a result, my knowledge and understanding of materials and physical objects contributed to my improvement as an illustrator. The two, while initially seeming opposites, lend themselves together incredibly well, and my work lately has focused on a marriage of the two. The art that I produce I want to be enjoyed for more than visual aesthetic alone, which is why I favor the story telling and metalworking mediums: Both forms of art allow for a visually striking component, but also require interaction from the audience, be it by wearing the piece or reading it, to gain the full experience.

An action title created in the spirit of the great licensed arcade brawlers of the 90’s. Players take on the role of the mysterious Wanderer, a figure who walks alone in the wastes of planet Zircon V, and distant mining planet that orbits a volatile star.
