SWEDISH INDOOR GOLF Golfers are flocking to a new Swedish indoor centre equipped with 10 GCQuadpowered Foresight hitting bays to work on their game or enjoy a few holes with friends.

It’s proving a hugely popular option considering that the local golf courses are covered with snow, and there is little more than six hours of daylight throughout the winter months.

The Sweden Indoor Golf centre in the southern city of Linköping is already exceeding the expectations of its owners, just four months after opening for business. It operates between 08:00 and midnight seven days a week and attracts golfers of all ages and standards.

EDUCATION IS KEY Foresight’s certified PEAK professional training programme – developed by some of golf’s most trusted and knowledgeable instructors – is now available online.

Offering the flexibility to learn anywhere at any time, the programme covers everything from the basic use and advantages of using launch monitor technology in a fitting, instruction, or practice session, to in-depth analysis of every component of club and ball flight performance data and its application to player improvement.

Foresight Sports Europe also recently teamed up with The Golf Lab to offer an exclusive, hands-on learning experience held at the Silvermere Golf & Leisure complex in Surrey, one of the country’s leading golf centres.

Hosted by award-winning golf coach and master club fitter Liam Mucklow, PGA Professionals from across Europe took part in a comprehensive workshop on teaching and equipment analysis, plus cluboptimisation and custom-fitting.
