KEY OBJECTIVES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Key Objectives
✓ Provide leadership and guidance to local stakeholders and the National Football Trust and Leisure United to maximise participation outcomes from each Hub investment through establishing KPIs and tracking local performance, whilst ensuring site development plans reflect the communities they serve, and Hubs are recognised as exemplar facilities for tackling inequalities.
✓ Provide governance and strategic planning support to the National Football Trust Board of Trustees, helping to ensure local delivery aligns to national strategy.
✓ Manage the Booking System and Smart Access Framework to ensure the successful roll out across 3G pitches and PlayZones as a minimum.
Key Responsibilities
✓ Lead the Foundation’s post-award relationship with each Hub investment to ensure the day-to-day operation is effective and that grant terms and conditions are being complied with.
✓ Provide expert advice to local partners to optimise programmes of use and ensure development plans are built on engagement with the local community and focussed on reaching the Foundation’s priority audiences.
✓ Act as a ‘relationship manager’ with key stakeholders in each Hub area (including the local authority, operator, County FA and Pro-club Community Trust) to ensure their needs are being met and partners are unified in their commitment to tackling inequalities through each investment.
✓ Support the creation, implementation, and review of key governance documents for the Hubs programme, including the Leisure Management Services Agreement, Services Specification, Terms of Reference, and Collaboration Agreement.
✓ Provide leadership in establishing well connected and effective relationships with sport system partners and wider agencies and organisations that can help to increase utilisation and broaden the outcomes being delivered across the Hub network –supporting Leisure United to co-design activation plans that meet the needs of local priority audiences.
