hrough the generosity of our community of employees, the Dominican Hospital Foundation’s 2019 iGive Employee Giving Campaign was a tremendous success! Over the years the participation in Employee Giving has grown exponentially making our outreach profoundly impactful.

The involvement of over 500 of our community of employees leads the way for others to get involved. This year’s focus was the expansion of oncology massage therapy hours at the Katz Cancer Resource Center, housed at the Richard and Mary Solari Cancer Center. Certified oncology massage
therapists provide patients chair massages during infusion treatments and monthly full-body massage. They also teach caregivers how to provide neuropathic massage treatments to help manage pain, reduce stress, enhance ability to cope, and improve feelings of well-being for patients. Employees
