yas Olson, Production Supervisor, is one of the many people who make Daktronics a world leader in visual communications and entertainment systems.
For Olson, who grew up in South Dakota, the work at Daktronics is more than work. The Panama-born gogetter has received two promotions with the company since starting and takes pride in the company that provides LED displays for everyone from high schools to MLB team, to Times Square and Piccadilly Circus. “My most memorable experience here was in 2015 when we were awarded the contract for the new Minnesota Vikings stadium (U.S. Bank Stadium),” Olson said. “I couldn’t believe my ears when we got awarded
the Vikings contract and ‘we’ get to be a part of this state of the art project right in our backyard. This was guaranteeing our favorite NFL team of all time would receive a video display built with superior quality by the Daktronics team. The Daktronics team really takes a lot of pride in what we do here, and building this project brought even more pride to our employees. I really appreciate my teammates and couldn’t do it without them.”
