About two feet above the flower pot, tie two knots around a washer. Do one knot with each rope. Repeat at the same height on the other side.

Pull rope through openings (bottom and handles) in the largest basket. Try to keep the spacing even. Bring the rope up through the bottom of the basket and wrap around a handle on the side.

Work the basket down so it sits evenly on the washers.

Repeat steps four and five about one foot above the first basket.

Install the screw hooks (or other hardware). Space them as far apart as the top basket is wide.

Line the baskets with plastic bags and secure with zip ties. This will keep your dirt in the basket, where it belongs.

Once all baskets are strung on the rope; double knot a washer at the top of each set of ropes. Hang the washers from the hooks. Adjust the knots as needed to hang evenly.
