Punshon Receives Life Saver Award

Submitted by Mark Novecosky

One morning at the Jack Hamilton Arena project in Saskatchewan, Canada, Mike Punshon found a homeless man in a sleeping bag.

The man wasn’t looking healthy and because it was February it was incredibly cold out. Mike asked if he would like him to phone for help, but the man was shaking uncontrollably and could barely reply yes. The temperature that day was around -10 Celsius or 14 Fahrenheit, and it would have been much colder during the night. Mike called for and ambulance and they were able to recover and help the man.
