The Goodnews River Lodge is located in a remote corner of Southwest Alaska about 475 miles from Anchorage, at the edge of the pristine Togiak National Wildlife Refuge. The cabins and the restaurant are rustic but you find everything a fisherman needs. Mike Gordon and his staff and guides really did a good job. They are constantly working to make you happy.

- Goodnews River Lodge -

TOGIAK NATIONAL WILDLIFE REFUGE, JUNE 2015 skills. Fishing for Kings was really good. Every day I had some hook-ups and landed some good Kings. I had a 40 and a 45 pound as my biggest fish and - believe me! - they are really hard fighters. There is also good fishing for leopard trouts and graylings in the upper part of the river. Goodnews - I will come back!

This river still holds a good amount of King salmon. The lodge is situated right at the upper edge of tidewater – seven miles from Goodnews bay where the river flows into the Bering sea. The Kings I caught were often really chrome and sea liced. Theses fish are fresh and feisty, and they challenge your angling

- Midnight Sun Trophy - Pike Adventures Yukon territorry, Alaska, JULY 2015

After the time at Goodnews Lodge I went up north to the Yukon Territorry. Had a fantastic fishing experience for Northern pike on the Yukon and on the Innoko River.

Guided by the owner “Scotti, I was able to land some really nice pikes. Should be your first choice if you are a Pike Fishermen.
