Ein Traum wird wahr. Providence ist wohl einer der besten Plätze der Welt zum Salzwasserfischen. 2023 fanden zum ersten Mal Testwochen der Alphonse Fishing Company mit ihrem neuen Katamaran Quo Vadis auf Providence statt. Ich konnte gleich für 2024 zwei Top Wochen ergattern und gemeinsam mit meinen Freunden hinfliegen und dieses Abenteuer erleben. Es ist eine teure Destination, aber es lohnt sich für jeden, der sich das leisten kann. Mitten in diesem geschützten Atoll auf einem Luxuskatamaran diese traumhafte Fischerei zu erleben ist ein Privileg.
Auf Providence gibt es auch die Möglichkeit, den Bumphead Parrotfish auf den Flats zu fangen. Dieser Fisch war für viele von uns ein Wunschtraum, denn es gibt nur drei Plätze weltweit wo dies möglich ist.
A dream comes true. Providence is probably one of the best places in the world for saltwater fishing. In 2023, the Alphonse Fishing Company held its first test weeks on Providence with its new Quo Vadis catamaran. I was able to get hold of two top weeks for 2024 and fly there with my friends to experience this adventure. It‘s an expensive destination, but it‘s worth it for anyone who can afford it. It‘s a privilege to experience this fantastic fishery in the middle of this protected atoll on a luxury catamaran.
Providence also offers the opportunity to catch bumphead parrotfish on the flats. This fish was a dream come true for many of us, as there are only three places in the world where this is possible.
