FROM THE

Gillams

A Few Quick Notes...

• We’re starting a Kubota franchise in Ft. Pierre! Be sure to give them a warm welcome and feel free to keep up with them on their Facebook page @FloydsKubota • This year 460 people took the vehicle test and Jason Biers made it to the finals of the DTNA competition for a second year in a row! As we all know a lot of things have changed in 2020 and so did the competition as it turned into the Virtual Tech Competition and was held via Zoom! • COVID Reminders—We should all take the precautions we can to avoid COVID, but it’s likely that some of our employees will get it at some point. What’s vital for our stores is that we don’t spread it between each other at the stores. A “breakout” or hotspot” in one of stores would shut the store down for up to two weeks. In other words, within our stores, we need to flatten the curve. To do that, we need to avoid “close contact” with each other as much as possible. Close contact is being within 6 feet of someone for 15 minutes or more. If we do that, even if one or two of us get sick, we won’t infect the whole workplace, and our customers and fellow employees will be much better off! • Camping world is opening some operations to Sidney, NE, which is a big deal for that community and our store there. Here’s a link for more on that. • Western Star just released their newest truck, the 49X. Take a look at their launch video on the dash if you have a chance, this thing is a beast!

Spending a good weekend out at our local lake with family and friends. My recipe to share Jalapeno Poppers on the grill. MY FAVORITE.
