Simit Fresh Mediterranean, one of our food critic’s favorite restaurants of 2022, is swapping breakfast for dinner service with new hours from 11 a.m. to 9:30 p.m. The Levantine fare from salads to stews and so many delectable dishes in between is fantastic. The mostly Mediterranean wine list is studded with hard-to-find hidden gems from ancient yet emerging regions including Turkey, Macedonia and Bulgaria.

Best bite this week: Bonjour’s spinach and goat cheese quiche ($14) served with salad.
from Gourmet Mama, Restaurant Bonjour’s goat cheese and spinach quiche is lighter than air with an ultra-thin flaky crust, making for a delish lunch. Served with a salad dressed in a sweetly tangy vinaigrette for $14, the quiche pairs beautifullywithapourofoneoftherestaurant’shousewinesbytheglass,Chevalier Alexis Lichine, a non-oaky, crisp French chardonnay.
