Get the most out of your produce throughout the year – by eating in season you are supporting nature’s rhythm and the farmers that follow organic practices. Nature is certainly in tune with our health providing needs, with the winter harvest provides an abundance of immune boosting fruits & veggies to support gut health & wellbeing during the cooler months.

Hibernation is the theme, so root vegetables, leafy greens and cruciferous offers are perfect for slow cooking and providing warmth to the internal organs.

Take the time to slow down at mealtimes, savour hearty flavours, and masticate your food thoroughly to support digestion.

Boost fibre intake to aid digestion and support elimination pathways. Try stewed apples & rhubarb on warm oats for a fibre-packed breakfast.

Load up on vitamin C-rich foods like citrus, carrots, and oranges for an immunity boost. Incorporate them into juices, soups, salads, or snacks.

Harness the power of antioxidants found in berries, celery, sweet potatoes, kiwifruit, cauliflower, and brussels sprouts to combat free radicals and reduce oxidative damage.

Stock up on minerals like magnesium, potassium, and folate from leeks, cabbage, broccoli, and kale. Enjoy beetroot raw in salads or roasted with garlic for anti-inflammatory benefits and improved cardiovascular health.
