OUTFITS

A style guide inspired by European countries Written and designed by Josie Trautwein

SPAIN Spanish fashion “is synonymous with creativity, innovation, and competitivity” (Stylight). The beauty of Spain’s rich culture has brought out the best in their street style fashion, incorporating flowy materials, neutral colors and elegance. For this outfit, I chose to pick a few things from Spanish culture (including the art of Flamenco and Spaniards’ conservative yet stylish attire) and turn it into a classic street style outfit. A long flowy dress, a widebrim fedora, espadrilles, and natural, untamed hair. To be honest, most everyone always looks put together in Spain, so this reminds me of someone who’s out running errands for the day around Plaça de Catalunya. Fashion in Spain is so versatile and easy, yet composed. The muted tones, breezy skirts and dresses and espadrille sandals make for a perfect Spanish-inspired spring or summer outfit. 52 | Flair Magazine
