Five Star Tours & Charter Company is a local receptive tour company offering the best and most unique tour products in San Diego. We create an unforgettable experience for your guests on board! Our tours are created and implemented based on your organizations’ vision of activities. Our tours are experience based and driven on creativity which makes them customized. They can be used as a great return on investment whether as an incentive, partner activity, fundraiser or networking tool for your participants. Locations We can arrange for the tour motor coach to pick up at your headquarters, hotel or any location in San Diego County. Other pick up locations can be arranged per group leaders’ needs. Times All tours depart at the time requested by the planner however we can implement our own time schedule for your organization so you don’t have to worry about it. All tour motor coaches arrive 15 minutes before the boarding time and depart at the requested times. We follow the time duration schedule and drop off at the time requested. Registration Five Star Tours can assist you with guest tour registrations. We can register participants online, by fax, telephone or on-site at the time of the event. We offer a complimentary San Diego Orientation for all meeting participants with a question and answer panel. Requirements All tours require a minimum of 20 participants. SPANISH MISSIONS TOUR DETAILS: VISIT MISSION SAN DIEGO ALCALA AND JUNIPERO SERRA MUSEUM (ORIGINAL SAN DIEGO MISSION) DURATION: 4 TO 6 HOURS COST: $ 40 ADULT/$ 19 CHILD We will visit California's first mission was named San Diego de Alcala in honor or Saint Didacus of Alcala. Visitors will find a restored church built in 1813. You can stroll on the grounds, and visit the church and mission exhibits. We then travel to the Junipero Serra Museum is located on the site of the original San Diego mission; the museum is named for the tireless Father Serra who founded the earliest California missions. Their collections include house wares, clothing, furniture, tools and military artifacts from the Native American, Spanish and Mexican periods through 1848.

TOUR USS MIDWAY DETAILS: VISIT THE USS MIDWAY AIRCRAFT CARRIER DURATION: 3 HOURS COST: $35 ADULT/$ 20 CHILD The most important landmark in the US Navy history, the USS Midway Aircraft Carrier was a part of the American fleet over 47 years, more then any other ship. It’s service history includes the end of WWII to the Desert Storm operation. Almost a quarter million Americans served on-board this incredible piece of military history. The USS Midway museum has a restaurant, memorabilia, crew logs and a lot more, a must see if you are coming to San Diego.
FLYING LEATHERBACK MUSEUM DETAILS: VISIT THE FLYING LEATHERBACK MUSEUM DURATION: 3 HOURS COST: $ 30 ADULT/$ 20 CHILD The Flying Leatherback Museum is a tribute to the aircrafts and to the history of the Marine Corps Aviators. The outdoors are of the museum comprises over 20 aircrafts from Jets to Helicopters and Transport Airplanes. The indoor part has all sorts of memorabilia and interesting information about the Aviators that made history by being part of the Marine Corps and the US Air Force. This museum is located in the MCAS Miramar and is a great stop for military groups and aircraft fans alike.
FORT ROSECRANS TOUR DETAILS: VISIT THE HISTORIC FORT ROSECRANS AND POINT LOMA DURATION: 3 HOURS COST: $ 30 ADULT/$ 20 CHILD Fort Rosecrans has been a defense position for over 200 years, with it’s origins going back to the days of Spanish domination. The Fort was later used by the US Military until it was decommissioned in 1945. The remains of some of the Fort’s structures can still be seen and are a major piece of California’s military history. On this tour you will also be able to see the Cabrillo National Monument, the place where Juan Cabrillo first set foot on America in 1542, which is also a major scenic site with great views of San Diego Bay.
