Looted Art Programming “Stealing Klimt,” stealing the show, with a soldout audience for this film on Maria Altmann’s struggle to recover five Gustav Klimt paintings stolen from her family by the Nazis in 1938. Co-sponsored by the Miami Jewish Film Festival, this film was shown in conjunction with our U.S. premiere exhibit of posters from the collection of Dr. Hans Sachs, also looted by the Nazis in 1938.

FIU Programs FIU Honors College students enjoying a tour of the museum as part of the HEARTS (Honors Education in the Arts) program’s first “FIU Cultural Crawl of South Beach,” visiting JMOF-FIU, Wolfsonian and Miami Beach Urban Studios. The tour was organized by Regina Bailey, Wolfsonian Assistant Director Academic Initiatives, Senior Fellow FIU’s Honors College. Membership & Volunteer Vice Chair Isabel Anderson receiving an award for 15 years of volunteer service.
