I am the principal author of this research report, which will be the first half of a corridor report for Sunset Drive in El Reno, OK. I was hired for the first half of the project as an urban planning intern to focus on the research and community engagement portion of the project; the second half of the report will consist of visual recommendations done by architecture students. This report includes historical, site, and socioeconomic data about El Reno, OK, as well as information about best practices in other cities; sources included online websites, print documents and photos at the Canadian County Historical Society Museum, government records and maps, site visits, and meetings with community stakeholders.
This report was created in Adobe InDesign and posted on a project website that I created using SquareSpace (https://www.elrenosunsetdrive.com/) in order to make current drafts of the report accessible to the general community. Supplementary tools used include ArcGIS, Excel, Lightroom, and Photoshop.
