SHAH HAILS TEAMWORK, SAYS NO CASUALTY DURING CYCLONE BIPARJOY IN GUJARAT

Union Home Minister Amit Shah, after an aerial survey of areas that bore brunt of cyclone Biparjoy in Gujarat, hailed teamwork of central agencies and State govt and said not even a single life was lost during powerful cyclone. “PM Modi had ordered to make all arrangements before landfall of the cyclone. PM himself had discussions with State govt and agencies regarding preparedness,” HM Shah said.

Power has been restored in 1,600 villages out of the 3,400 villages where the power supply was cut. Around 73,000 animals were taken to safe spots. Electricity will be fully restored by June 20.
