WOODLANDS

Woodlands combines the charm and character of a traditional, thatched cottage, with spacious extensions and a generous plot. The property has been modernised throughout and is presented in excellent condition with the original part of the cottage believed to date back to the 17th century.

KEY FEATURES

Badbury is a delightful Hamlet, located between the larger villages of Liddington and Chiseldon in a conservation area and an area of outstanding natural beauty, and ideally placed for access to the M4 J15 & the A419.

Ground Floor

The ground floor has been beautifully re-designed via a series of well-thought-out extensions, to now offer a spacious and versatile layout, perfect for family living and entertainment. The entrance hall leads through to the recently refitted ‘Neptune’ kitchen suite with high-spec appliances, underfloor heating and exposed beams. From the kitchen, there is a useful utility room, guest cloakroom and extended reception room with roof lantern.

To the rear of the property, the triple-aspect living room offers panoramic views of the surrounding woodland, with bi-fold doors leading out onto the rear terrace. With access from both the hallway or the living room, the dining room offers the perfect entertaining space with a feature inglenook fireplace.

First Floor

To the first floor are four double bedrooms, with the principal bedroom benefitting from an en-suite shower room. There is also a family bathroom, with roll-top bath, which services the guest bedrooms. Presented in excellent condition throughout, with the bathrooms having recently been upgraded.
