“My sisters and I bought the house eight years ago primarily as a place where we could holiday, or on occasion use as a holiday let, and we could think of no better location than Saundersfoot,” says Ceila. “It’s a gorgeous place , summer or winter. We of course have the beach just a short walk away, which even in the height of summer doesn’t get too overrun with tourists. You can pick up the Pembrokeshire Coast Path here and quite literally walk for miles; Folly Fa rm, which attracts visitors from far and wide, is around ten minutes away by car, and we can be at Oakwood Theme Park in under twenty minutes, sot there’s lots to do. We also have the stunning Pembrokeshire countryside right on the doorstep.”

“The house was brand new when we bought it, and it’s a property that has been really beautifully designed, and built to an incredibly high standard. Despite looking quite modest from the front, it’s really spacious inside and also incredibly light and bright. The bedrooms are nicely proportioned, particularly the master suite on the top floor, and as well as the huge open-plan kitchen, dining and living space, there’s also another large reception room on the lower ground floor so it’s ideal for large families. We also like the fact that bot h reception rooms have bi-fold doors, which upstairs open onto a balcony and downstairs a courtyard garden, which are really nice for alfresco dining.”

“The large open-plan kitchen, dining and living area is my favourite. I t’s a great space in which all the family can be together without feeling on top of one another, and it’s lovely to be able to open up the bi folds and sit out onto the sunny balcony.”

“As well as having access to the beach and stunning countryside, we also have a good array of shops and amenities within walking distance, the train station is just a mile down the road and the road links are pretty good so it’s really easy to travel to and from the village.”

“We’ve decided to sell because we’re not able to use the property as much as we used to, but we’ll be sad to let it go,” says Celia. “We’ve had some wonderful times in the house and indeed Saundersfoot; I’m sure the new owners will enjoy living/holidaying here just as much as we have.”*

Another of my favourite rooms is the master suite, which spans the entire top floor. It has a large bathroom, fitted wardrobes and it also h as a Velux balcony window from where you get the most gorgeous sea views.”
