Q: Tell us about your experiences as Miss Virginia for America Strong.
A: My experience with Miss Virginia for America Strong was very positive. I went to nationals, and I made some great connections.
Q: What lead you to want to go in that direction?
A: I had a few friends that were in the Pageant world so that’s why I started competing. I started out with Miss Baltimore and then move to Miss Virginia competitions. I always had a lot of encouragement and I was feeling very good about myself, because I’ve also done runway modeling in the past, commercials, small, independent, films, and portrait photography.
Q: Is there anything you would change?
A: There’s not anything I’d really change, but I feel like everybody should be included when it comes to pageantry. I’ve seen young women, competing, and older women competing. And I think that inclusiveness towards all individuals, of all colors and sizes, would definitely benefit the majority.

Q: What are your goals for the future?
A: I hope to be an entrepreneur and start a fashion related business in the future. Currently I’m working in the office administration.
Q: Tell us your opinion on current fashion? Likes, dislikes...
A: Classic elegance is my cup of tea when it comes to being fashion forward in the lime light. And also working in various avenues when it comes to looking and feeling my best.
Q: Do you have any hobbies? What do you like to do for fun?
A: I like modeling, hanging out with friends and painting as my hobbies! I also like to do to volunteer work for my community. Like being a volunteer for 988 or working from my church.

As New York Fashion Week prepares for another season of runway magic, one show stands apart—not just for its aesthetic, but for its purpose. Fashion 4 Ukraine (F4U) returns this fall for its third season, continuing its powerful mission as the only ongoing NYFW show exclusively dedicated to Ukrainian designers. After walking major runways in New York, LA, and Miami, Olga launched F4U in 2024 when she saw zero Ukrainian designers represented at NYFW. Fueled by her roots, modeling career, and background in journalism and business, she created F4U as more than a show—it’s a movement connecting Ukraine to the global fashion scene.

Christian Dior was born on January 21, 1905, in the city of Granville, France. The son of a bourgeois family, he lost his mother during childhood due to illness. After her death, his father moved to the south of France with Christian and his four sisters.
Dior’s youth was far from easy. His family faced financial difficulties, which led him to leave his political science studies. For a while, he pursued music and even ran an art gallery. Things took another turn when he fell ill with tuberculosis — an experience that ultimately brought him closer to the world of fashion.
He began sketching his own designs and selling them to newspapers and magazines. His illustrations portrayed elegant and modern dresses, imagining a new way for women to dress.
These sketches opened doors, and Dior began working with several major designers of the time — among them, Robert Piguet.
After several years working for Piguet, Dior launched his own fashion house in 1946, thanks to financial support from textile magnate Marcel Boussac. A year later, Dior revolutionized fashion with the presentation of his “Corolle” collection, which took inspiration from

the flowers in the garden of his childhood home. The collection broke away from the austere and somber style that had defined wartime fashion, helping to shape the aesthetic of the 1950s.
The “Corolle” collection caused a sensation. The designs celebrated the female silhouette with mid-length, full, flared skirts that emphasized the waist and accentuated the bust. The looks were completed with hats, gloves, and heels that elongated the legs.
It was at this moment that the Carmel Snow editor of Harper’s Bazaar famously said: “This is a New Look,” and from then on, Dior’s collection became known as “The New Look.”
Ten years later, Christian Dior passed away from a heart attack, leaving his growing fashion house in the hands of Yves Saint Laurent, who had been working with him in the atelier. At just 21 years old, Saint Laurent took on the role of creative director and carried on Dior’s legacy of elegance and refinement.
Since then, the House of Christian Dior has passed through the hands of several designers, each one bringing their own vision while honoring the timeless elegance that Christian made the signature of his brand.
The 20th Century brought the rise of many fashion icons, and one of them was Christian Dior — the creator of one of the most prestigious fashion and haute couture houses of all time, and the man responsible for bringing back luxury, elegance, and femininity through his so-called “New Look.”
