FGCU Athletics would like to thank all Eagles Club members for your continued generous support!

The Eagles Club tailgates have enjoyed great attendance so far. Be sure to take a look at your schedule magnet as we move into the second half of our winter sports schedule for more fun opportunities to support the Green & Blue.

Our basketball programs are off to a great start. Both teams have played very tough non-conference schedules and the women won the 2014 Paradise Jam title. The men have had the strongest start in FGCU Division I history and look forward to a very challenging road swing over the holidays. Swimming and Diving also has started the season

with big wins over in-state rivals Florida State and Miami. Check out the sports recaps (pg. 10-11) for information on all our programs. Wishing all Eagles Club members a safe and joyous holiday season, we look forward to seeing you back at The Nest in early 2015 cheering on the Eagles!

 As we head into the Holidays, we feel extremely blessed to have your tremendous support. In turn, please know how much our coaches, student-athletes, and staff value both your financial and emotional backing. With such, we are proud to continue to generate positive results on and off our playing venues. In particular, we are very excited about the continued tremendous successes that were witnessed in the Fall that ranged from both soccer teams earning their fifth consecutive conference titles, as well as their third NCAA Tournament berths in four such opportunities. The women also earned our first ever D1 NCAA hosting and we had an electric FGCU record soccer crowd of

2,000 plus. Both cross country programs achieved best ever finishes at the ASun Championships and Volleyball finished second under new head coach Matt Botsford and is headed in a very positive direction. Well underway into the Winter slates, against quality competition, both hoops squads (8-2) are off to D1 program best starts, and look forward to getting back to the NCAA Tournament. Likewise, Swimming & Diving has joined both soccers as being nationally ranked in the Top 25 and shoot for their sixth CCSA crown in 7 seasons and improving upon their 32nd placement

at last year’s NCAA Championships. Finally, our recent fifth annual “Night at The Nest” was an unbelievable success. Thanks to the tremendous leadership from Dr. Bob Ryan and all our Advisory Board Members, we had a wonderful evening of friend and fundraising that we believe will result in a net profit of approximately $450K (far exceeding last year’s milestone of $295K). We are so appreciative to all our item donors and bidders for helping us generate these much needed additional resources for the Green & Blue! Happy Holidays! God Bless & Go Eagles! Ken
