Trucking and food logistics are an art, a science, and the world’s largest chess game. A full-sized section of a semi-truck loaded with food goods sets the stage for a touchscreen interactive. Visitors select from five programs, including logistics maps, super truck technology, a week in the life of a super truck driver, and an inside look at a food distribution command center.

TRANSPORT CHALLENGES

The farm-to-fork journey can have some wild twists and turns, this interactive ball maze visualizes the food supply chain as a whimsical and inviting puzzle . As visitors navigate from the field to the dinner table, they discover the many paths food can take and the many stops along the way.

KEEPING FOOD ON THE SHELVES

The food on the grocery shelf is near the end of its incredible journey. Peek into the cabinets, and into the backstory of how the food found its way to you. This realistic grocery store display lights up when visitors open the door, shining a literal spotlight on the origin of the food, including information like the mileage the produce traveled from the farm to the processor to the distributor, etc. Fresh spuds, potato chips, frozen fries, instant mashed potatoes... even cattle feed, vodka, and more!
