There’s no feeling quite like the pride of helping create food from dirt, water, air, and sunshine. At The Center, visitors don’t just learn about farming, they try it out first-hand. As they get their hands into the soil, they soak in the rich sensory experience, reconnect to nature, and pick up some of the technological skills of the modern production farmer.

The Demo Fields include four 1-acre growing spaces, each with its own crop rotation, center pivot irrigator, and field lab to house activity carts and seating. There is ample space in the fields for all kinds of potential future uses, such as demonstrating agriculture at many scales, daily drone flights, or serving as answer plots for local co-ops.
