In the closing moments of a Festival it’s impossible to
summarize in a single frame the flow of emotions that
#locarno68 brought along. So what I am left to do is
gather some of the images that have stayed in my memory,
because of sheer impact power or surprise. Let me
start with the evening when we handed the Pardo alla
carriera to Marlen Khutsiev. He is there, under the Piazza
Grande stage, with his 90 years of age, small, he
moves with a cane. But, it just takes him climbing those
few steps and get under the big screen, to show a vitality
that could rival Edward Norton.
