DUTCH NATIONAL STUDENT ORCHESTRA (NSO) Concert: ‘Freedom’ Every year, the best students of various universities are selected to participate in the Dutch National Student Orchestra (NSO). Under direction of conductor Bas Wiegers, the orchestra will perform works of Debussy, Grahl, Ravel and Bartók during the concert ‘Freedom’. STUKAFEST Festival During this night, 11 student rooms will be transformed into mini stages filled with music, theatre, film, comedy, literature, poetry and modern art. There will be three rounds of 30 minutes- performances, allowing you to enjoy different acts in various rooms. After the final round, the festival will be wrapped up with a spectacular party for all visitors, artists and hosts in Rotown. RIGHT MOVIE NIGHT Film en lezing Universitair docent straf(proces)recht aan de Erasmus Universiteit Rotterdam en rechter plaatsvervanger in de rechtbank Rotterdam mr.dr. Jolande uit Beijerse geeft vanuit haar expertise een lezing voorafgaand aan een film. Juridische (voor)kennis is niet nodig, reserveren is aanbevolen. I.s.m. JFR, CIA en het Wichmann Dispuut.
ÜBERMENSCH De nieuwe mens is in aantocht. Technologie gaat ons radicaal veranderen. We worden nóg gezonder, nóg slimmer en nóg gelukkiger. Straks zijn we allemaal übermenschen. Maar willen we dat eigenlijk wel? Wat betekent het om übermensch te zijn? En hebben we überhaupt nog een keuze? In de voorstelling ÜBERMENSCH gaan Rutger en Walter op zoek naar antwoorden.
