Hervey Bay is nature’s playground. It is the gateway to World Heritage-listed Fraser Island and offers easy access to the Great Barrier Reef and the world’s best whale watching encounters. Discover world class fishing, year round swimming and boating, stretches of white sandy beaches and calm, protected waters.
The Esplanade HERVEY BAY IS DEFINED BY ITS STUNNING WATERFRONT AND PICTURESQUE ESPLANADE WHICH STRETCHES FOR 16km FROM SECLUDED GATAKERS BAY TO THE BUSTLING MARINA. PIERS, PARKS, ALFRESCO CAFÉS, RESTAURANTS AND BOUTIQUE SHOPS ARE SCATTERED ALONG ITS ENTIRE LENGTH.
Explore the Torquay and Scarness café and shopping precincts with their resorts, boardwalks, playgrounds and jetties.
