MESSAGE FROM THE FCCA

On behalf of Florida-Caribbean Cruise Association (FCCA) and our Member Lines, I welcome you to the FCCA Cruise Conference and Trade Show in the stunning San Juan, Puerto Rico. This event is poised to be pivotal in helping attendees foster relationships and understanding to improve their cruise tourism business.

We probably all know that cruise tourism is sailing full steam ahead to new records, but these impressive feats are only possible because of constant communication and collaboration between cruise lines and destination stakeholders.

This event will offer a boatload of these opportunities throughout the business sessions—including the event’s most one-on-one meetings ever along with a new series of workshops—and networking opportunities during a loaded schedule of social functions. Of course, these are all geared to put attendees in direct contact with cruise executives that decide where ships call, what sells on board, and how to invest in destination products and infrastructure. Better yet, these executives will be on hand specifically to help attendees do more business with the cruise industry by addressing specific issues regarding the

Caribbean and Latin America; discussing facets of cruise tourism business to help you learn the latest; and targeting other ways to foster mutual benefits between cruise lines and destinations – all while forming invaluable business relationships.

Plus, Puerto Rico is ready to take the spotlight with hospitality, culture, authentic offerings taking centerstage. I am excited for all to discover what has fascinated me and so many guests in this sensational destination.

I want to give a special thanks to all those throughout this dynamic destination who took the initiative to host us today and make a testament to their commitment in growing cruise tourism, along with finding ways to inject more economic benefits from every cruise call and passenger.

This is the goal for all of us here, so I encourage you to take full advantage of the opportunities available, as they are focused on accomplishing what we know seen is crucial: joining cruise executives and destination stakeholders to not just learn from each other, but also learn about each other to grow together.

Micky

MESSAGE FROM THE EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR

¡Bienvenidos! The Government of Puerto Rico and the Puerto Rico Tourism Company are delighted to welcome back our cruise and tourism industry partners to our beautiful island as hosts of the 31st Annual FCCA Cruise Conference and Tradeshow. We are confident this event will provide an excellent opportunity to promote an enriching exchange of ideas, as well as the occasion to strengthen cooperative ties and boost the progress of cruising in the Caribbean region and beyond.

The tourism industry has enormous potential for growth. The creation of new, exciting, and improved attractions and products is always a top priority for each travel destination. Innovative strategies, industries and businesses are constantly being set in motion to supply consumers’ demands for a

high-quality and unique experience. Advanced infrastructure, agile supply chains, and skilled professionals are a must to maintain the Caribbean region at top-of-mind when travelers choose their next vacation destination.

As the agency responsible for stimulating, promoting, and negotiating the sustainable growth of the cruise industry in all ports around the Island, the Puerto Rico Tourism Company is proud to host this prestigious event. The combination of Puerto Rico’s position as the Eastern Caribbean’s main air and sea access hub; modern facilities; and marvelous natural settings create the perfect environment to enjoy a productive conference where business and relaxation are effortlessly balanced.

During your stay with us, I encourage you to set some time aside to explore the diverse and unique offer that Puerto Rico is known for. From our renowned white sand beaches to ziplining over lush green mountains; from treating your taste buds to a sampling of our traditional cuisine to the beat of our vibrant music scene, our home has something for everyone.

I look forward to greeting you personally and to a successful 2025 Florida-Caribbean Cruise Association Annual Convention and Trade Show.

Cordially,
