ARTIST STATEMENT My paintings are similar to being in the middle of an undiscovered universe with colourful galaxies, stars, forests and fertile oceans. My large-scale paintings with multiple layers of paint are meant to transport the viewer to a unique experience of transcendence. The patterns, textures, and colours that I use reveal the exuberant spirit of nature, as well as a moment of reflection that confirms our place and role as humans on this planet. My fascination with nature, its indescribable beauty and complexity made me fall in love with the sea, the grass, the trees, the animals, the sky, the stars, the moon, the animate and the inanimate world as a part or a whole, the visible and the invisible, and above all the quantum field. I have travelled the world and have experienced, discovered, and learned through my limited capacities, about energy fields and dimensions. These have affected me and inspire me to create and share the magic of my deductions through my art. My wish to my art viewers is for them to lose themselves in nature’s beautiful complexity, and remind themselves of the intrinsic connection to the majesty of this world. I also wish for them to discover their own sanctity, and the importance of their roles and obligations to the preservation of nature. We all need to nurture ourselves as responsible beings overseeing the world with the intention of preservation rather than destruction. My final goal with my paintings is to inspire the viewers to create a tolerant, creative, and cooperative system heading towards a spiritual unity for all. We must learn to work together with the power of art, for it is only possible to compare the power of art to that of nature. My hope is that the viewer of my art enjoys them as much as I enjoyed creating them.
