CITY CLERK’S OFFICE ANNE BARKSDALE Meetings: Discussed municipal election procedures with Fayette County Elections Superintendent Floyd Jones.

Projects: Worked with City Attorney David Winkle on legal documents, contracts, and open records requests; worked on items for July 16 City Council meeting; completed 2020 Georgia Bureau of Investigations Security Awareness Training for Occupational Tax. Open Records Requests: 7

INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY KELVIN JOINER Work orders: 45 new, 48 closed.

Projects: Continuing to work on a list of technology needs for the new City Hall building; continued reviewing audio-visual plan for new City Hall; new security camera review; Courtroom live-streamed; continued with documents retention program; New World hub project; reviewed and responded to numerous e-mails to do with City projects; DNS server upgrade; Georgia Crime Information Center audit for Municipal Court; virtual local area network project connecting from the IT base to the Police building.

Meetings: Audio-visual project discussion with City Manager Ray Gibson and others; Meals on Wheels route; IWORQ demonstration with the Innovations Committee; met with the County on the Virtual Private Network move; met with Dell/EMC; DNS MS-ISAC security meeting.

ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT BRIAN WISMER Economic Development: Prepared revisions to Alcohol Ordinance amendments for July 16 City Council meeting; completed tank removal/ mitigation at new City Hall construction site.

Main Street: Continued preparations for amphitheater reopening; spoke with agent regarding Loverboy concert cancellation; finalized concert program layout.

Downtown Development Authority: Prepared for the monthly DDA meeting.

PIO / COMMUNICATIONS TEAM ANN MARIE BURDETT Promotions: U.S. Census Complete Count.

Meetings Attended: Communications Team 7/6; Communications Team 7/8; Museum publicity project 7/8; teleconference with Director of Technology Kelvin Joiner, Joe Domaleski of Country Fried Creative, and Marketing Specialist Justin Crum to discuss website/e-mail outage 7/9; met with City Manager and Marketing Specialist to discuss City’s new e-mail signatures and other brand assets.

COVID-19 COMMUNITY DISCOURSE As members of the public continue to express COVID-19 concerns, City leaders and personnel continue to implement safety procedures to help reduce the spread of the virus. While the City Council has resumed inperson meetings, those meetings are still streamed live on Facebook as well.

POLICE DEPARTMENT SCOTT GRAY ยก Please continue to lock your vehicle doors. While Entering Auto cases are

down, they are still happening.

ยก The Police Department and Fire Department received and began using

Aeroclave electric sanitizing machines in the buildings to help prevent officers and staff from being exposed to COVID-19 and other viruses.

ยก The Police Department has finished a policy review to make sure we are in

compliance with State of Georgia certification standards. We will have our onsite recertification review in early 2021.

FIRE DEPARTMENT ALAN JONES Events: Captain Steven Woodworth completed the Fire Inspector 1 course at the Georgia Public Safety Training Center.

Projects: Deputy Chief Linda Black attended various webinars throughout the week with Georgia Department of Public Health officials and other medical associations regarding COVID-19. Chief Black attended video conference for IWORQ system demonstration. Daily cleaning and sanitizing of self-contained breathing apparatus continues. Division Chief Jeff Gable continues to update the COVID-19 Incident Action Plan. Shifts were trained on the new Aeroclave disinfectant machine for station disinfecting. Fire Chief Alan Jones worked on the Staffing for Adequate Fire & Emergency Response (SAFER) grant reimbursement.

Bullard Thermal Imager cameras ordered. Order was placed for 210 N-95 masks.

PUBLIC SERVICES DEPT. CHRIS HINDMAN Public Works: Cleaned City Hall and Police Department; patchwork on Weatherly Drive and Carriage Chase Drive; cut and maintained Jefferson Avenue right of way, retention area on Weatherly Drive, Circle Drive, Emily Park, Bates Avenue, Fountain area; Hood Avenue roundabout and sidewalks; amphitheater perimeter, Kathi Avenue roundabout, North Jeff Davis Drive sidewalk, Lane Brown Gazebo, Church Street Park, Patriot Park memorial; cleaned shop; cut and maintained Grady Avenue, Beauregard Boulevard, Grady Avenue roundabout, Veterans Parkway, Lester Road, Highway 54 sidewalks, Highway 314 medians and rights of way, New Hope Road, and White Road.

Sewer: Average daily flow treated was 2.19 million gallons per day; performed weekly maintenance at 26 lift station sites; maintained wastewater plant and remained in compliance of our permit requirements.

Water: Average daily flow of 1.60 million gallons of system demand; repaired 3 water leaks; performed maintenance on 11 water meters; maintained water plant and remained in compliance of our permit requirements.

HUMAN RESOURCES DEPT. NELLA COOPER Personnel: Continuing with the implementation of the Performance Management and Performance Appraisals platform on ClearCompany; continuing to focus on COVID-19 and federal and state requirements relating to City employees; continuing to review various reports and updates related to COVID-19 in order to remain in compliance; keeping spreadsheet updated for potential City employee pandemic cases; requesting proper leave forms to be completed by employees who are out of work due to COVID-19-related absences; working with Georgia Municipal Employees Benefit System to finalize all pension plan documents; preparing new proposed pension plan documents for employee discussion meetings and the City Council presentation.

Turn Over Report: There were no new hires and one termination.
