CITY LEADERS TOUR NEW CITY HALL AND PARK SITE City leadership and contractors toured the new Fayetteville City Hall & City Center Park construction site on Friday, June 12. These facilities are on track to open next spring. 6/8

Attended ribbon cutting for Freddy’s Steakburgers restaurant

Held strategic planning meeting with Public Information Officer Ann Marie Burdett, Marketing Specialist Justin Crum, and Public Relations Specialist Danny Harrison

Worked on items related to the new City Hall & City Center Park and the amphitheater project

Conducted a Pinewood Forest site visit to see the status of the development

Participated in the owner, architect, contractor (OAC) meeting for the new City Hall & City Center Park project

Held teleconference to discuss Fire Station 93 with Steve Mauro from Comprehensive Program Services and Nathan Nipper from the Piedmont Fayette Hospital real estate team

Attended the quarterly Fayette County Intergovernmental Committee meeting at the Fayette Chamber of Commerce

Held a meeting to discuss traffic calming options with Woodgate subdivision homeowners association members as well as Assistant City Manager/Fire Chief Alan Jones, Police Chief Scott Gray, and Public Services Director Chris Hindman

Completed agenda items for the June 18 City Council meeting

Attended a meeting with Mayor Ed Johnson, Downtown Development Director Brian Wismer, Main Street Program Coordinator Joyce Waits, and resident Larry Dell to discuss a September 11 event at the amphitheater

Attended a City Hall & City Center Park site visit with elected officials, City staff, and contractors

Delivered meals for the Fayette Senior Services Meals on Wheels program
