Du'at Mutlaqeen have also taken the mannat of ziarat of Syedi Abdul Qadir Hakimuddin. Syedna Taher Saifuddin RA built the qubba mubaraka of Syedi Hakimuddin RA and this qubba was adorned with marble by Syedna Mohammed Burhanuddin RA. The 51st and 52nd Dais have visited Burhanpur on many occasions and have done ziarat doing sajda at the Qabar Mubarak of Syedi Hakimuddin. The 53rd Dai, Syedna Khuzaima Qutbuddin is the 14th Dai in the nasal (progeny) of Syedi Abdul Qadir Hakimuddin.
Syedi AbdulQadir Hakimuddin's ikhlaas from the rutba of Mazoon, and yet, in his qasida in praise of Syedi Hakimuddin, in the very first line, Syedna Taher Saifuddin writes that he was first and foremost the Dai's Mazoon:
Syedna Qutbuddin is Syedi Hakimuddin's waaris in more ways than one. His ikhlaas in the khidmat of Syedna Burhanuddin RA was such that he too, following the example of Syedi Hakimuddin RA, would stand up in reverence of the Dai's le er when he received it. He kissed it and did sajdatushshukur. His hurmat is such that Syedna Taher Saifuddin RA said in Lailatul Qadar that “Khuzaima's do'a is a do'a that is answered” (Khuzaima ni doa mustajaab che). And his maqaam is such that he was appointed by Syedna Burhanuddin as his Mazoon and Mansoos at the young age of 27, less than a month a er Syedna Burhanuddin became Dai. He remained in this posi on, serving Syedna Mohammed Burhanuddin with utmost ikhlaas, piety and sincerity for 50 years.

He was the quintessen al embodiment of knowledge and virtues. All Dais in whose me he lived placed him in the highest sta on of closeness and in macy. He was a u ering banner of faith, and a book upon which was wri en the zikr of Allah and his awliya … (Balagh ud Duaat, p. 211). … Syedi Abdul-Qadir Hakimuddin was born in Islampura (also known as Rampura, in the present-day Indian state of Madhya Pradesh)
There is not a Dawoodi Bohra who does not venerate Syedi Hakimuddin. Yet there are people who have a selec ve memory and a selec ve recollec on of history. Indeed, it is easy to dissociate the present from the history and yet we learn history to help us make the right choices in the present. There are those who in the me of Syedna Burhanuddin praised and offered Sajda to Mazoon-ud-Dawat Syedi Abdul Qadir Hakimuddin and yet harbored jealousy and enmity towards Syedna Burhanuddin's Mazoon. Those same people today, in their enmity of Syedna Burhanuddin's Mazoon and in their ques on his veracity, have seen fit to demean all the Mazoons and the rank of Mazoon itself. Were Syedi Abdul Qadir Hakimuddin alive today would we not yearn to take the barakaat of his 'ilm, guidance and do'a? At the least, would we not believe him and trust him? O Mawla Abdul-Qadir Hakimuddin Mazoon of the Dai of the Majestic Creator

on 14 Jumada-l-Ula 1077 H / 1667 AD in the era of the 34th Dai Syedna Ismail Badruddin Bawa of Jamnagar. His father, Bawa-MullaKhan Saheb QR, was a virtuous Mawla who served the Dais with devo on, and was celebrated for his piety, diyanat and charity. Syedi Hakimuddin memorized the Quran at an early age. When Syedi Abdul-Qadir Hakimuddin was five years old, Bawa-Mulla- han Saheb brought him to Ahmedabad to the hazrat of Syedna Abdut-Tayyeb Zakiyuddin RA (who would become the 35th Dai upon the demise of Syedna Ismail Badruddin Bawa in 1085 H / 1674 A D). Upon Syedna Zakiyuddin ' s request, Bawa-Mulla- han offered Syedi Hakimuddin to him in khumus. Syedi Hakimuddin served the Dais of AaleMohammad from early childhood un l the end of his life on earth. He lived through the reigns of five Badri Dais of amnagar, the 4th to the 38th: Syedna Ismail Badruddin Bawa RA, Syedna Abdut-Tayyeb Zakiyuddin RA, Syedna Abdo-Moosa Kalimuddin RA, Syedna Nur-Mohammad Nuruddin RA, and Syedna Ismail Badruddin Sani RA. Syedna Zakiyuddin gave charge of the mubarak child to his own son, Syedi ShaikhAdam Safiyuddin Q . Syedi Shaikh-Adam was a pillar of ikhlaas and ilm. He was then in the rutba of Mukasir and would rise to the rutba of Mazoon. His son Syedna Ismail Badruddin Sani would become the 38th Dai, and Syedi Hakimuddin would become Syedna Badruddin's Mazoon. Syedi Hakimuddin grew up in Syedi ShaikhAdam ' s care, and Syedi Shaikh-Adam nurtured and trained him and raised him high in the sta ons of ilm and taqwa. Syedi Hakimuddin wrote about his mufeed-e-haqq the following words of deep apprecia on and gra tude: Mawla Shaikh-Adam Safiyuddin brought me into existence from non-being to being. I grew up in his home and in his care. When I reached my strength [of maturity], he blew the spirit into me, na h-ur-rooh, and he taught me from his font of pure ilm … Mawla Safiyuddin treated me with utmost kindness … and I served him with devo on . … He loved me dearly, and singled me out for his generosity … (Nahr un Noor ash Sha'sha'ani, pp. 175-176)
