BARLEYMASH Beat the summer heat by going to barleymash, the place to be in July where you can find delicious food, refreshingly creative cocktails and 30 taps and live DJs every night of the week. Barleymash is the ultimate hub for friends and strangers to come together. It starts with tantalizing food that emphasizes organic, locally grown and sustainable ingredients since everything is made from scratch. Their current specials include “Time ‘n a Half,” which entails half off all beer, wine, spirits and select appetizers Monday-Friday from 3p.m.-6p.m. “It’s designed to be high energy and fun!” says owner Eric Lingenfelder. “Barleymash is a beer-and bourbonbased bar and restaurant with progressive bar fare that focuses on a community-centric vibe.” Wherever you turn, you will come across something that reinforces the restaurant’s philosophy that life is meant to be sipped and savored, not gulped. 600 5th Avenue, Gaslamp // 619.255.7373 // barleymash.com

Guesthouse goes off!
STINGAREE Over the past year Stingaree has been reinvented with the addition of Guesthouse as well as several amazing parties and performances. Wednesday nights at Stingaree have featured artists such as Wynter Gordon, Foster The People and Medina. Stingaree’s Friday night parties have recently featured some of the best vocal house performers. Also, over the past year, Stingaree has launched two new and unique Sunday party concepts: Guesthouse Day Club was launched in the winter and Revive launched in April, just in time for the summer season. “Our guests can always expect the top-notch service that Stingaree is known for as well as some of the best entertainment and parties around town,” says Shane Brennan, managing partner. “From promotions like Revive to performances by both hip-hop artists and major house vocalists to various celebrity appearances, we always try to change it up to keep things new and fresh.” 454 6th Avenue, Gaslamp // 619.544.9500 // stingsandiego.com
