Farm Credit is the first job I’ve had as a lender, and it is by far the best company and best group of people I’ve ever worked with. I currently work in a small office mostly by myself and tend to take loans from start to finish with my loan officer working remotely to answer questions, review, and approve any that I do not have the authority to approve myself. LEADERSHIP Lora Briggs

DISC PROFILE

Vice President/Regional Branch Manager

ID/D I

I have been with Farm Credit as a Loan Officer and Branch Manager of the Danville, Arkansas office since February 2015. I have had the privilege of working with many farmers in the poultry and cattle industries during my tenure. I have been invited into many farm families lives helping them to navigate the specific financing challenges that each industry presents. My mortgage background in management, underwriting and sales has well prepared me to sort through the many loan programs and criteria enabling me to help Farm Credit customers succeed. Most recently I have been promoted to a Regional Branch Manager. In this new role some of my goals include continual learning of the Farm Credit System. Maintaining and improving an open line of communication between the branches, myself and Senior Management. Finding common ground challenges in our region and solving them together in order to find efficiency in every area we are able. I have lived in Yell County for 23 years with my husband Chris and we own a 3rd generation cattle farm which is my hobby.

DISC PROFILE

Chief Operating Officer/Executive Vice President Graduated from UCA in 1993 and began my banking career in Rogers, Arkansas shortly thereafter. I have worn about every hat during my banking career; HRAD, Compliance, Loan Officer, CCO for consumer lending. After going through a series of mergers I left what became Regions Bank and went to work for Bank of the Ozarks as a regional branch manager/lender. Thanks to timing and poor judgment on Farm Credits behalf I landed here in 2008. My career started here as a Senior business analyst and after about 6 months had the opportunity to move into the newly vacated CCO role. I blindly stumbled through my CCO role until November of 2016 when I had the opportunity to replace Tom Peebles as the COO.

Most recently I have been promoted to a Regional Branch Manager. In this new role some of my goals include continual learning of the Farm Credit System. Maintaining and improving an open line of communication between the branches, myself and Senior Management.
