Concerts supporting charities Disadvantaged children from across the county are set to benefit from a partnership between Classic Ibiza, Heart Four Counties and its charity, GMSN. The Classic Ibiza concert takes place in August at Hatfield House, and with the support of Heart Four Counties radio aims to help raise £20,000 for small charities and projects which support disadvantaged children and young people living with illness, disability or lack of opportunity. There will be various fund-raising activities including a donation of £1 from every programme sold at the concert (and three other concerts across the country), face painting and from a number of collection points placed at key locations on the grounds. ‘The money raised by concert goers for Global’s Make Some Noise will support many charities. Small charities like Learning Through Horses, which helps vulnerable young people in Hertfordshire and elsewhere who have been excluded or are at risk of exclusion from school, to develop vital life skills through working with horses,’ says Emma Bradley, Managing Director of GMSN. The partnership will enable the charity to expand its coverage within Hertfordshire over the coming 12 months, particularly in schools.
