UIL went to 2 team playoffs in 1988-89.

UIL went to 3 team playoffs in 1992-93.

The NFHS Rules Committee officially added the 19’9” radius 3 point shot for high school basketball in the 1987-88 season.

Clear Lake has gone undefeated in district play only once (1981).
